27.04.2023: Boys' Day (also) at Paderborn University Library
On 27 April 2023, the nationwide Boys' Day will take place at the same time as the Girls' Day.
Paderborn University's diverse programme offers boys and girls in grades 7-13 the opportunity to get a taste of the university atmosphere. With various offers, the aim is to show that there is also a lot to discover and explore beyond the study programmes and apprenticeships traditionally chosen by boys or girls.
The University Library is taking part in this event and will be offering two internships from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. in the "Media and Information Services Specialist, specialising in the library" apprenticeship.
28.02.-03.03.2023: "Writing days for students and doctoral candidates" at Paderborn University Library
From Tuesday, 28 February to Friday, 3 March 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., the "Writing Days" event will take place for the first time in the University Library.
Students and doctoral candidates from all faculties are invited to work intensively on their writing projects in the library over these four days. They will be supported with short workshops and advice on all aspects of writing and searching for literature. Joint exercise breaks with yoga or brain breaks offer a pleasant interruption and the conversation during the coffee break may motivate you with new writing impulses.
Registration is via the library's booking system for training courses.
Information on the programme and important information on the procedure can be found on the pages of the Competence Centre for Writing.
The "Writing Days" are organised by the Competence Centre for Writing and the University Library, together with other institutions of the University, such as the Writing Meeting for International Students, ProLernen, the Centre for Spelling Competence, the Graduate Centre of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and University Sports.
