Clos­ure at the turn of the year

The University Library will be closed from 23 December 2025, 18:00 until 4 January 2026.

From 5 January 2026, we will be open again during regular opening hours.

Books for short-term loan can be borrowed from 19 December 2025 to 8 January 2026.

Of course, you will have access to our electronic services such as the catalogue, library account, databases and electronic full texts via WWW during the closure period.

  • Information centre:
    Mon.-Thurs.: 9:00-19:00
    Fri.: 9:00-15:30
  • Borrowing and returning media (self-checkout; return machine):
    Mon.-Fri.: 7:30-24:00
    Sat.-Sun.: 9:00-20:30
  • Issue of library cards and media provided at the counter of the local lending department (e.g. interlibrary loans):
    Mon-Fri: 7:30-19:00
    Sat: 9:00-17:00
  • Provision of media ordered from the library's stacks:
    Mon-Fri: 7:30-18:30
    Sat: 9:00-16:30
  • Fees incurred can be paid by EC card or cash during all opening hours at the automatic pay station in the entrance area of the University Library.
