Get an overview at our information stand in the entrance area of the library! - Short guided tours of the library
11.00-11.30, 13.00-13.30, 15.00-15.30

11.30-12.00, 14.30-15.00, 15.30-16.00
The University Library pursues an offensive strategy of providing digital information media. It digitises historical books that appear relevant for the history of Paderborn University and for research into the history of the city and region.
We will show you how a book gets online. What needs to be considered when scanning old books in particular? What happens technically during scanning?
Meeting point: in the entrance area of the library - Library book bazaar
10.00-18.00
Browse through our book bazaar on level 5 of the library! For reasons of space, the University Library is parting with older literature on a wide range of subjects that is no longer needed.
A total of around 5,300 volumes from almost all departments are on offer.
The proceeds will be used to purchase new information media. - The place of knowledge - library exhibition
