The University Library will be present with a stand at the "Market of Opportunities" in the main entrance area of the University on Wednesday, 12 October 2011, from 10:00 to 14:00.

As part of an information event for members of the Hövelhof Seniors' Union, Dr Ulrike Hesse will give a short presentation on the university library. On Tuesday, 28 June, a book bazaar for economics will take place from 10.00 to 16.00 in the group study room on level 5.

Around 2,000 volumes from various fields of economics - including business informatics, mathematics & statistics for economics and law - will be on offer. Including mainly textbooks in multiple copies

On 14 April 2011, the first nationwide "Boys' Day" will take place at the same time as the "Girls' Day".

The varied programme at Paderborn University offers boys in grades 9-12 the opportunity to get a taste of the university atmosphere. The various activities on offer are intended to show that there is a lot to discover and explore beyond the study programmes and apprenticeships traditionally chosen by boys.

The University Library is taking part in this event and will be offering a work placement from 9.00 to 11.45 a.m. in the "Media and Information Services Specialist, specialising in the library".

The three Rotary Clubs from Paderborn, in cooperation with the Federal Employment Agency, invite you to this year's Paderborn Career Information Day on 12 February 2011 at Paderborn University. In individual events, pupils will be given the opportunity to gain an insight into various professions on campus. Paderborn University Library will be taking part in the event as part of the presentation of careers in bookselling/publishing/library.
