Research workstations
The PCs are available to all users of the UB free of charge. Personal registration is not required (anonymous access). They can be used to access the university's WWW pages, the catalogue, the databases licensed by the UB and electronic full texts as well as other selected electronic services. After a personal login with library card number and password, unrestricted access to the internet is possible.
Printouts and file exports of search results and full texts are possible on all PCs.

- on the entrance level (without level 1 in building J):

PC Terms of Use of Paderborn University Library
- The library's PC workstations primarily serve to support research, teaching and studies at Paderborn University.
- The library is not responsible for the offers of external providers. Please deregister from services requiring registration, such as freemail accounts, before leaving the Internet PC! Deregistration from the library's Internet PCs does not necessarily mean termination of these services.
- Library card numbers and log-in and log-out times are stored for seven days.
- Misuse can - after examination by the responsible authorities - lead to exclusion from use and to criminal measures.
