Apply for a library card
- If you already have a library card, we kindly ask you to have it "rewritten" at the counter of the Local Lending Department. To do this, we only need your old combined service/library card or library card.
- If you do not yet have a library card, please apply for your library card using the application form before you visit the University Library. In the first step, you will be asked to enter your e-mail address. Once you have successfully confirmed your e-mail address, the registration process will continue with the entry of your personal details.
Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive a registration code which you can use to collect your library card in person from the desk at the Local Lending Department. Please bring the following with you:- Your identity card or passport with a confirmation of registration from the residents' registration office (registration certificate), which must not be older than 1 year, or another valid official identity document with photo and address details
- proof of your former employment
If the library card is not collected within 30 days, the registration will be cancelled automatically.
